All ingredients to be organic-if possible

Ingredients.

Vegetable bullion broth

3/4 cup organic wild rice (or red rice)

3/4 cup organic basmati organic white rice

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium red onion, chopped

1 stalk of celery with leaf

2 cloves garlic, chopped or squeezed

Directions

1. Bring the broth to a boil.

2. Add wild rice; reduce heat to low and cover tightly. Simmer until grains begin to open and feel tender to bite, about 40-45 minutes.

3. Add organic white Basmati rice to pan; cover tightly and simmer until white and wild rice are tender to bite and liquid is absorbed, about 20 to 25 minutes.

4. While organic Basmati white and wild rice cook, add olive oil to a large frying pan over medium-high heat. When pan is hot, add onion and garlic. Stir often until onion has softened and lightly browned, 5 to 7 minutes.

5. When rice is done, remove from heat and gently stir in onion and garlic mixture. Transfer to a serving bowl.

6. Add fresh parsley or chervil
